By coming to deviantART I have hoped to re-kindle an old love for photography, one of my few and most favoite hobbies.
Ive enjoyed photography for a long time now, doing photography for my second school in Edinburgh, Scotland for the school yearbook as well as a termly magazine for our house, "The Glencorsian". Art was never really my thing at school, I could never draw to save my life and my art teacher told me I was better at sculptures than photography. The main thing that kept me going was my friends who helped encouraging me that I was good at photography.
I soon entered University at St. Andrews, a little area of Scotland that I adore. For my first year I kept up the hobby to some degree, shooting photos for friends and for myself. My second year I shot almost nothing; only really servicing photo requests for friends, and not my personal enjoyment.

By posting my "hobby" photos here I hope to keep up and maybe get better at photography. I must admit I am not nearly as good as some, espessially in terms of photoshop and equipment (only have 2 lenses for my poor camera).

I hope to theame my photos here around the aspects I like most, wildlife and landscape. Landscapes have always been a challenge for me to capture, and I am kept going by the simply stunning photos that other great photographers make. I love wildlife and the challenge they provide to the camera. To me, photographing wildlife is not about the fancy effects you can do with a camera but patience and good reflexes.

I dont know how popular this deviant noobie will be in the future, but I certainly hope that those who do happen by will enjoy what I have to feed your eyes
